Definitely. Each game has its own uniquely arising circumstances and many levels of nuance.
In the last game, I fell under the spell of the character I was playing, Uesugi Kenshin, and allowed (my impression of) him to influence the narrative that was taking shape as the game went on. The same thing's happening with Lysimachus in Age of Conquest. I like to give my lord a little leeway. As opposed to treating it like some overgrown game of chess.

Lord Oda started off as a respectable man of honour and ended up a babbling mercenary psychopath who created works of art out of his slain enemies....

.... but it was great fun!

I suppose Rennyo never mentioned the bloodcurdling Ikko Ikki rite that was held in your honour (and absence). Well, some things are best left out of the history books.

I'm sorry Lord Oda was not present but the search for Mrs Tokugawa must continue.

I'm sending the list to the GM on Monday (the 22nd) so make sure you pm your address if you haven't already.

Bosse - the game (I hope) probably won't start for a week after the GM gets the list so the start date should be ok for you.

If I've left your name off, please add it on.

(edit: Will I need to let the GM know who will start as a royal? If so, let me know - via pm ... is it only the royals who pick starting positions?)
