I don’t often thumb down posts but this was dumber than ghosts attempt at pub quiz night.
4 weeksafter my heart attack i went to nhs rehab 1 hr cicuit training, weights ,bike,cross trainer ,stepper, nurse takes your pulse and shows you an effort chart every 1/4 hr, I enjoged the bike so much i bought one now I am doing 3/4 hour every other day doing about 20kilometers I have come down from 22 1/2 stone to 19 st 3 lb over 20 months i am 67 and feel a lot fitter, low carb diet but still enjoy a couple of drinks every night.

Cheers Pete still going/ hopeing to get down to 16 stone by my 70th birthday. I also bought a treadmill but my wife uses it more than me she is almost blind and finds the treadmill safer than walking outdoors.

Keep in mind you were under medical supervision while doing this not at home alone! 😉

my bike has a heart rate monitor and a max workload monitor built in I am allowed to do 90% workload of my max so heart rate up to 135bpm my resting heart rate is 52bpm I have in the past cycled for 2 hrs solid but keeping my heart rate just in the zone around 100bpm I also have a BP machine I also have the hospitals physios phone number if I need any Advice, I also have a nitro spray but so far never needed to use it.

Key word here is "allowed" to do. Keep it up, you will do yourself a lot of good. They have already found out what your limit is so this is a good thing. You can improve upon it a little at a time though.

Very solid. Keep it up. You are seeing benefits already which helps give you motivation to stay on track. I commend your efforts. Most Americans just stay in front of the TV and keep stuffing their faces with garbage night and day.

cut out most meat , eating lots of fish fruit and veg 1 slice wholemeal bread a day, love eggs and a couple of whiskies every night, thanks for the sentiment.
