No, I never had that one.

I used to have a dream where a butcher had me on meat hooks and was skinning me alive.
Oh yeah, I've had that one too. And Sylvestor Stallone comes in and wants to pound away on the meat. Yep, that is a bad one.

As soon as I hear the opening bars of "Eye of the Tiger" a shrill of sheer fear ripples down my spine.

Yep and then those freakin' flying monkeys from the wicked witch of the west come in and start twisting your nipples off....bad stuff there.

I'm taking Zoloft which gives awesome dreams but I can never remember them. I have almost zero dream recall.

Except I remember one cool one I have regularly where when I hit traffic I pull back on the steering wheel and gain elevation and the car can fly.

I used to have nightmares about dolls a lot. I had one where I found out I could fly but then once I got used to it I lost the power.

I remember one dream long ago where I was with my true love (my first boyhood puppy love who I was too scared to even talk to) skateboarding around; but my perspective was third person. It looked like a side scrolling video game. We got around on my skateboard.

Sometimes lucid dreaming is nightmarish.
The few times I've experienced it I was in total control. I could fly, which was
great. It felt real and everything. But it lasted for only a moment and then I
went back into not realising I was dreaming and everything got jumbled up
again, as it often is in dreams.

I am actually dead.

I have hit the floor that many times in bad dreams, I have lost count.

I often have this strange dream where I'm in an elevator, going up and
everything's fine until I realise I just continued out of the roof and way
up into the air, and only the floor is left. So, I lie down and carefully look
over the edge of the floor and to my horror I see the ground way, way
below me (I'm like cloud high), and for some reason that's the trigger
(the realisation of being so high up without anything solid around me)
that sends me hurling for the ground stupendously fast.

Still don't know what that dream means. I think it's sexual, because the
rush I feel as I'm falling is in truth really exciting.

No, I've never seen that. What's the connection?

I used to have a recurring nightmare where I am a passenger in a car driving along on the highway and as we come to a steep overpass, we climb to the top and as the car starts back down, I fly through the roof and fall over the side of the overpass. I would always wake up just before I hit the ground though.

Yes. Focused on making the dream lucid, had the lucid dream and was able to control it, though I prefer to have a lucid dream and allow it to go where it will.

I don't think I've had control over a dream before, but I remember one weird dream: I was flying, I landed, and then a physicist came up to me and explained how I was able to fly, something about right angles to the three dimensions. Weird. 😕

uh, that wasn't a dream. You really can fly. You are Peter Pan.

Edit: At least I thought that was what they said. maybe it was "you are a peter pan"? 😕

And I'm his biggest fan. It's like I bend over and then he can hover above
me in all three dimensions.

Most of my lucid dreams have been falling or flying. Hmm. Funny how you wake up just before smashing to the ground. Maybe your brain cannot wrap around that?

Anybody have dreams they are dead? I had one once. It felt really good that people were so sad at my passing.
