Is THIS REALLY the best solution? Anger? First lets discuss the idea
that an emotion is going to spark us to troubleshoot together. This idea seems to have
some merit when initially viewed. When we're angry, we do something about it right?
Emotions when broken down to there very smallest form, are a mental trigge ...[text shortened]... t be
stopped by any material power.
I'm part of such a revolution.

I suppose I'm no more than a mad entertainer.
The comparison is probably spookily accurate.

Your unbridled intensity suggests an overly confident firebrand trying desperately to make his mark. Am I wrong?

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth; banks are going bust; shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter; punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end ...[text shortened]... twork (1976)
As true now as it was then, over 30 years ago.
I find GIN's intensity refreshing and his message topical in an increasingly noisy media environment of fear-mongering infotainment.
I'm not someone who subscribes to the whole affirmation thing, but turning off Beck/Olberman/Springer etc and replacing them with positive images of where you want to go at a personal level sounds like a vast improvement to me.

Maybe.
Certainly very confident, probably bordering arrogant.
Trying to make my mark? Sir, I've made my mark in this life many
times. I have nothing left to mark, but my own soul. Whether or
not I can cleanse it with sacrafice, who knows. I'm not haunted by
anything ever done to me, although sometimes things I have done
do haunt me. Ammunition? You have it sir 🙂
If you want to analyze me GB, you must know I was born wealthy, and
alone. I grew up this way, but abandoned my wealthy family, earned
a football scholarship, blew out my knee and rehabbed to go back.
I was then in a car wreck, I will never play again. The event still carries
underlying issues, no doubt.
The real question you must ask now, is -GIN chasing down his
past self image? 🙂

Who's white?
Mr. Redneck, spouting the "taking back our country" horse dung?
I have no doubt. They all are. They can't handle that our country is now in the hands of a black man. Limbaugh is practically apoplectic, and they have to goose-step in line with him.
In fact, I hate to say it, and I doubly hope I'm wrong, but these yahoos are so vocife ...[text shortened]... n't be surprised to hear about at least one assassination attempt before this year is out.

I don't care if you're 98% white, if you looked black, it was still dangerous to walk into a drugstore in the 60's and sit down at the counter, at least in the south. Or to sit in the front of the bus. Or to drink from the "white" drinking fountain, or to use the "white" bathroom.
Back when the election was held, there was all this jaw-jacking about how proud everyone was that the country was able to rise from the ashes of the civil-rights strife of not-so-long ago and elect a black president.
Now all you hear is how we need to "take back" our country from the "ebil socialist" in the *White* House. Socialist my ass. What they mean is black. Seems we're not so "evolved" as everyone thought back in November.
