Who's white?
Mr. Redneck, spouting the "taking back our country" horse dung?
I have no doubt. They all are. They can't handle that our country is now in the hands of a black man. Limbaugh is practically apoplectic, and they have to goose-step in line with him.
In fact, I hate to say it, and I doubly hope I'm wrong, but these yahoos are so vocife ...[text shortened]... n't be surprised to hear about at least one assassination attempt before this year is out.

Originally posted by SuzianneYou are dead right about that. As I watched Olbermann, Mathews, Geraldo, etc. masturbating all over each other about how "far we've come" and how "proud the rest of the world should be of us", all I could think of was "yeah--my big ol' white redneck butt!"
It's always been about the appearances in this country.
I don't care if you're 98% white, if you looked black, it was still dangerous to walk into a drugstore in the 60's and sit down at the counter, at least in the south. Or to sit in the front of the bus. Or to drink from the "white" drinking fountain, or to use the "white" bathroom.
Back when t ...[text shortened]... ean is black. Seems we're not so "evolved" as everyone thought back in November.
People have not evolved appreciably since we stood up in the savannahs and started kicking cave bears' out of their homes in the rocks.

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth; banks are going bust; shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter; punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end twork (1976)
As true now as it was then, over 30 years ago.
Understand that this was all caused because banks and investment houses wouldn't lend money because other banks gave out bad loans.
There isn't anything fundamentally wrong with the economy. This isn't like it used to be before.

The only thing they are interested in is re-gaining power and will do anything and say anything to get back into power.
You have to understand that since Eisenhower, the Presidency has changed. The US is no longer for the people, it is for Business. One day, you yanks will figure it out but not until you stop stuffing your faces with hot dogs and monday night football.

Making snide comments. Where else?
The Republican members of congress just might as well stay home. Obams has tried for bipartisanship and it's not flying.....so break out the steamroller.
