not so good when you know you're playing against an engine and it takes months to remove him
No criticism against admin, in fairness his play wasn't TOO suspicious
It takes time because admins want to be sure who they are booting.
Just so you know, this player did slip for a bit. He was pegged a while back... drifted down the list and missed by the admins for removal.
Regardless of this user being here on borrowed time, it always takes a lot of time and a lot of work by the mods to get it right. If they were removed as quick as I like, mistakes would be made I'm sure.

Originally posted by PhlabibitI agree too, hence I have no criticisms with those on the site. Just with life in general. Like you suggest, if everyone suspected was removed....the site would be worse off.

But, evidently there are players who are obviously not players...and it's nice to see them removed
I could sit in the forums and moan all day about them, but I'll just gloat when they're removed 🙂))

I have spotted what appears to be a few dodgy users, time will tell.
One was under 1350 for 3 years and then within 9 months had joined the elite.
Makes you wonder why they do it. 🙄
Originally posted by adramforallI heard about a few people who got banned for starting witch hunts with unfounded accusations, there are just as many 3(c) bannings as 3(b) and they take alot less evidence to process.
Unlike some others.

Originally posted by TyrannosauruschexNo point in hunting witches, as far as I am aware they don't get banned.

If I timed out all my games now, I would end up with a rating of around 1100.
Would everyone be jumping on the bandwagon and accusing me of cheating when I got back to my normal level?
These things have to be done over a long period of time to be able to know beyond reasonable doubt, and definately by an entity good enough to know what constitutes computerish play.
Originally posted by TyrannosauruschexYou're saying that a consistant 1200 player for 3 years who jumps to 1800 in two months, doesn't deserve a few WTFs ???
