I am assuming there are no prying eyes in game mne here on RHP except for Norway, England, Arles and myself (Mamlukes). Please correct me if I'm wrong!

I'd like to make alliances with Roum, Byzantium, Hafsids and Venice and go for an early naval war with Sicily (once the initial development stage is over AKA all local independents have been smashed). Anyone have a problem with that?

I have made alliances with Aquitaine and Novgorod and with you guys e.g. Norway, Arles, Mamlukes. This is all for the time being. I am planning an early assault on France with Aquitaine.

Venice would support that. I'm allying with Venice. In fact I'm friends with all my neighbours. How does your garden grow...

Venice is already on board. Good relations with everyone I've talked to. I still need to talk to the Hafsids and maybe Roum.
