A superior speed, but still very dignified, I hasten to add.
Glad to have finally caught up to you, Duke--but why is it that the good folk of Alsace whisper "Nyarlathotep" when you ride in dignity through the cobbled streets?

I note that the curious Arletian tactic of abandoning fortresses to the enemy has caught on.

Princess Dimwit of Roum didn't move; shame the Med Alliance had a nice greeting waiting for her off Italy.
Doge, I respectfully request that you refrain from applying this disrespectful appelation to the Sultana of Roum. While you republicans are all too eager to demolish noble values, this is the 14th century, and we are none too keen for our good peasants to start following your example.

The French and Hafsid fleets vanished and it doesn't look like they were sunk, so apparently Bot fleets eventually disappear.
Might have been captured.

All my proclamations have been real world quotes though slightly tweaked. This one is Abraham Lincoln to a regiment of Ohio troops.

I named that militia unit the "Friuli Scouts" in your honor. Haven't caught up to my "invasionary forces" yet; net gain of two provinces from Hungary to the Republic that turn. And are you going to send your junk fleet out or keep it in the Christman wrapping all game?
I think I'll keep them wrapped in the skin of the man known as Christ for a little while longer. It's good psychology when you're fighting Christians.

It looks like Aquitaine captured them.

Now he's got English and French ships in his motley navy. Quite a savvy player, it seems. I think marines do the capturing.

The good folk of Arles know we exist to worship and serve, Azathoth.
Quite a Pied Piper you're turning out to be. What are we going to do with you?

Arles is still making a profit--7 gold for his proclamation, 5 spent on upkeep. He's singing for his supper, ha ha ha ha ha.

...[text shortened]... heir "invasionary" force wiped out, too. It'll fall next turn barring an infidel screwup.
The bots in this game are a big disappointment. They don't even try to regain lost provinces. They just sit there and do nothing. We had a few feisty bots in the last game I played. I expected the same here, but noooooooooo...

Acquitaine has EXACTLY the same ships in its navy as it did last turn, so I highly doubt it. And Morocco must have destroyed a bigger fleet with hardly any losses according to that scenario. So I think the BotFleets just vanished.

Morocco confirms, they did a Flying Dutchman number.
