Yup, look to Arles; they allied with the Heathers against the Republic. They broke three separate peace agreements. Now where are they? And to add insult to injury, Bavaria tried to trick him into getting destroyed on his own last turn!
Look to Poland; they allied with Bavaria. The Heathers were supposed to "help" them against the Teutons. So the ...[text shortened]... I agree with ya, Princess, people should look, but you're not gonna like what they see.
Originally posted by SuzianneYou heard wrong as usual. Arles was never my ally; we were at war from turn 2 on when he decided to invade Italy. He broke 3 separate peace agreements. And the disposition of the territory of Arles has been decided by negotiation between the parties and I am keeping my end of the deal. Anything else that you don't know that I can help you with?

Turnfiles are in....looks like the "Alliance" took a really hard hit trying to punch further into Bavarian lands....
Tough break.
Bless them!

Hungary proudly congratulates the Budan Infantry for their brilliant defense of the Wallachian border fort. A large group of the Venetian pirates has been killed or captured. There was some loss of life among the Hungarian army, but surprisingly little. Venice's raiding party has been driven to the former Byzantine provisions on the far side of Serbia. Soon they will be driven to the sea and will no longer trouble our lands.
Hungary lost 6 Hungarian Light Infantry (equivalent to Peasant Rabble elsewhere) while the pirates lost 4 Elite Marines, 2 Crossbowmen, and 2 Heavy Infantry. Henrik the Horseman got his first battle out of the way and learned a bit about how to coordinate infantry and cavalry.
