Originally posted by AThousandYoungYou call those battles? Don't flatter yourself. They're nothing but minor skirmishes. Chance run-ins, when your pathetic band of guerillas run into a real army. You're no warrior. You're nothing but a frightened old woman, running through the street in terror at the sound of the Great Khan's approaching army. A real warrior would have stayed to defend his capital and died a hero's death. But instead you flee for the hills while getting 16 units of "mighty warriors" trapped behind my lines where they will be summarily destroyed. You deserve to be crucified, Ferenc.
No; that's not all I've done. If it were, I wouldn't have retaken land from you or fought 7 battles with you this last turn. I've simply avoided slamming the majority of my forces into the larger majority of your forces. Mighty warriors are not foolish. You're the one who is hiding all his troops behind walls despite outpowering the enemy 2 to 1.

By the way, I appreciate the compliment you're giving me. You're at war with 4 nations - yet I get 90% of your army and all four of your Commanders. You must be really scared of the Magyars.
Originally posted by Bosse de NageThe submission website is giving the result it gives when the turns have all been "run" - it's saying my orders are not present, when a few hours ago it was saying my orders were present, and in between it was giving the weird error messages it gives when it's actually "running" the turn. However, I can't download my turn. I've never seen that before.
I'm thinking the new due date means they'll be coming in day later than usual.
EDIT - I just looked at the e-mail in question, and it's referring to the due date being extended "24 hours to Thursday, 5pm PST". Normally it's TUESDAY 5pm PST, so 24 hours should be WEDNESDAY 5pm PST...
My brain hurts. And I am annoyed.
ðŸ˜
Pimpalicious! Mine hasn't exactly "arrived" but I was able to DL it.
Nice moves Rob. Fortunately I can't say the same about Bavaria. What were you thinking, Bert?
EDIT - Let's see what the losses were:
Magyar Losses:
Magyar Skirmishers (PRab): 27
Archers: 6
Light Infantry: 8* (lost to Bavaria)
Mercenaries: 1
Mongol Losses:
Horde Warriors: 3
Light Infantry: 1
Mongol Raiders: 1
Boyar Guards: 4
Bavarian Losses:
Imperial Guards 12
Archers 11
Thanks for killing those Magyar Skirmishers, Khan. They were expensive to feed. I tried to get you to kill them last year, but you were too timid. Looks like you found your balls though.

I made great gains in Hungary this turn, leaving you with only 20 GP worth of income generating provinces. Your allies must have set you up with a golden expense account to keep your army from defaulting on their upkeep. Now that my armies in the north are building up I can start to push back the Aquitanian rabble. My realm held steady at 420 GP this turn, while I inflicted some minor chastisements upon the enemy.

EDIT - And Morocco wiped out Roum too. Your side had 6 actually.
EDIT EDIT - No, Roum's not gone. But she's fighting Morocco. 5 on 6 and you're losing.
