Aragon, Morocco. Tilt your heads back. That will stop the bleeding a bit quicker.

More for both of you next season. Enjoy.

Your troops died heroically enough in Tuscany. Now you're finished. Well played.

No use in going quietly.

Thanks to an blunder (note to self: check orders three times!) a Spanish cavalry army without infantry support was lost in Austria, but the Horde lost a lot of troops too and is now outnumbered on the ground...the tide is turning.

What's this? Allies that actually support each other? Heavens above!

We shall mourn the valiant deaths of Rodrigo and the Disco-m-bobultors for 1000 years, sent to their deaths by the folly of the infantry captain. I hear Rodrigo himself took 30 heads before he was pulled from the saddle.

He sang as he slew until he was run through.

Matej the Lecherous will miss him dearly too.

I've just learned from a messenger that Rodrigo's son has come to the palace seeking a commendation. I think I shall send him to Tyrolia and see if he is half the man his father was.

Does this mean a new turn is in? The popcorn gallery is fed on scraps nowadays. Those Arletian washerwomen keep blocking my view.

After doing an exemplary clean-up job they died en masse helping Castile take Tuscany. At least they were able to see some decent architecture before they died. Sicily lost

3 Light Infantry, 13 Crossbowmen, 2 Mercenaries and 10 Elite Marines

vs. 9 knights (Castile went and put his in the front rank again), 5 crossbows and 13 peasants

and now has a sum total of 4 crossbow, 4 light cavalry, 3 cavalry units plus 4 royal gallions left to defend Rome, Naples and Apulia.

What else? Two Spanish generals and a large cavalry army perished in Austria:

Castile losing

6 Light Cavalry, 8 Spanish Knights and Commander;

Aragon losing
27 Heavy Cavalry,5 German Knights, 2 Spanish Knights and Commander;

and the Golden Horde losing

13 Mongol Raiders, 11 Mongol Horse Archers, 9 Boyar Guards,
9 Light Cavalry, 9 Archers, 13 Slavic Nobles

(Aragon's foot didn't come to the battle as planned, or the outcome would have been different!)

And what else. Roum's about to go. Norway has lost all his cities (Castile grabbed the far north in a daring sea raid) and is roaring about the countryside with a 1600CF army. Could still do some damage! The Golden Horde is building armies to protect the north and build up a deep defensive network. However Warsaw is looking very vulnerable to a combined attack by Hungary and Aquitaine.

Simply speaking Sicily and Roum shall no longer be active. The Horde is now facing war on 3 fronts. The Med is a great holiday destination.

In the vets game, I had some marines who failed to board their ships causing me to lose an extremely critical battle I should have won. Do you think there's any chance of GM screwup this week?

Maybe...maybe not. We have no infantry or Siege Machines in position. Our forces are all cavalry. Warsaw has as many HP as we do in position to attack it and he has the level 5 fort too.

Are you sure you gave the correct orders (unit number etc)? I'd prefer to think it was my fault than the GM's.

You do have twice as much CF and a commander. Are you going to dither about?!
