For better or for worse, the Great Khan is not nearly as talkative as the No1 War Doge was.
Better for the other players, worse for the popcorn gallery.

Alas, Kodran is no more. He died heroically trying to liberate Scania from Saxon occupation. Minstrels, a dirge if you please...

The Golden Horde is regrouping, falling back in the face of Hungarian forces boldly marching to retake their land. Morocco has made its first intervention, landing at Ragusa. Horde troops occupy Finnland once more. But the big news today is that Warsaw has fallen to Aquitaine & Hungary, driving a wedge into Khan Ozbeg's swollen domain.

Sicily survives with two heavy cavalry in Naples. Castile is master of Rome.

You ever thought of getting a job writing voice-over narrations? You'd have a knack for it!

Castile are you disappointed that you won't get to fight Norway mano a mano?

Hey you nearly have 250 gold. Not bad going for a sub-human monarch.

I am greatly saddened, Donkey Oatey has been sharpening his axe for days and I fear for his men, he hates disappointment and is known for drinking and wanton cruelty in the face of it...

A subhuman monarch who is fortunate to be riding the coattails of his allies.

What glorious victories or tragic defeats have you to report this season? Did you fight for Poland or scurry ignominiously away?

I have not seen the turnfile yet, so I am unable to comment at this time.

But I did abandon Warsaw, as I saw I would not be able to hold it. I didn't want to lose the province and the troops. Beyond that I cannot say.

One man's coattails are another man's support lines.
