I was suggesting that Hungary might be useful in showing THE GM that continuing the game was pointless. Hungary, clearly, didn't merely want to win the game (he didn't) or to survive (he did); he wanted to see you defeated (mission accomplished).
If he additionally wanted to see you reduced to a bitter, bitter man, Hungary must be feeling truly triumphant.

Another way of looking at this would be to consider how mighty the Horde once was and how several comparatively weak realms banded together, trusted each other, worked cooperatively and won. Or perhaps that was your point?
