Originally posted by dottewellI set my "blunder checks" at 0, so you get some analysis for every move. For my own purposes, I'm usually only looking for tactical oversights on my part - missed opportunities in particular. I generally know where I lost a game without an engine telling me.😞
I meant the other cheats kicked today - the "mountaineers". All four may have been obvious to you, to a greater or lesser degree; only three were obvious to me.
I will go through those games; when I'm analysing my own I'm not normally looking for "best" moves, just checking for crucial/fairly crucial mistakes. Have never actually checked how often someone picks the "best" moves.

.... He's been pretty obvious playing the number of moves he did at the level he did.
look at hebert ... a known human: playing fast and well ... and rhp is only one of several sites for him.
most very strong players will be able to play fast at a very high level ... many will prefer to play very slow ... they are all sufficently obsessed to play for too too many hours per day.
shame meman was a computer ... anyway lets see the replacements roll in.

Does anyone actually know for sure that this is Jean Hebert and not just someone with an engine imitating him? 😕
After all, we did have Tommybear.
I understand that I will probably get torn to shreds for even mentioning this but it is just out of curiousity if anyone is actually 100% sure that this is him?
Originally posted by Wibble WobbleI was actually asking for some evidence more solid than "his posts sound french" and "he gave reasons behind his moves"...look up Ironman's posts, or TRACKHEAD's.
Well his posts look like he is french, he acctually posts. When he posted he gave reasons behind his moves etc....
Definetly human

THIS IS OUTRAGOUS!!!!!
Hang on a second here.....
I'm sure Freddie quite clearly said this wasnt an accusation.
We all can see that the real Jean is a great player. All he asked was whether we were sure that the Jean Hebert on this site is the real deal.
In my opinion the answer is "yes" but that doesnt invalidate the question.

let them know the "meman"s will be removed ... and let them know that they can happily do what they do best: play lots of very accurate chess.
