They were electrocuting and shooting dogs that wouldn't fight, and a dog fight is pretty much to the death from my understanding.

So many dogs were buried in the yard, that they didn't have room, so some were buried underneath a concrete patio.
The kennels used were not temporary plastic ones, but concrete structures. The fight arenas were all given a hip-hop motif. Bring your bling, and watch your dog get mutilated.
