I am fairly new to this site, so forgive me if this seems like a stupid question, but why would anyone want to alert a moderator about a post or thread. Maybe it's my extreme-liberal perspective talking, but I can't imagine why anyone would request censorship. Is someone doesn't like a thread, can't they just go to a different one or something? Is it really necessary to "tell" on someone? Is RHP a facist dictatorship, or a representitive democracy? Or am I just confused and ignorant?

Well, what I actually mean to say is that there are various individuals who might spout racist crap or something, and you can notify the moderators about their posts. And quite rightly the moderators can remove them if the content is actually offensive.
ON THE OTHER HAND...
there are the language nazis. These horrible little individuals say things like: "Vote republican." but don't let you use any good old fashioned anglo-saxon words.
And then there are the TOSSERS. They believe rightiously in the TOS (terms of service or whatever the hell they're on about). And these despicable individuals are even worse than the language nazis, because they want to have people banned.
Nasty, horrible, creepy individuals...
But most of us are quite nice.

No need to thank me. 🙂

Or maybe just a rational enterprise. okay, so I think I get it now. Offensive language is bad for business. If people are angered by things they see on the site, they will be reluctant to cough up $30 a year.

I kind of figured that would happen. Alert the moderators about talking about alerting the moderators. Very clever.
