Well it has been a long time since I posted a thread, but after this latest bout of stupidity I couldn't resist !
Can you believe it, I actually received a leaflet this morning asking people to vote if Monmouthshire will be English or Welsh ! I consequently e mailed the organisation with the following points
1- How much did it cost to undertake this leafletting campaign ?
2- How much would/will the salary be of the successful candidate if instated in office ?
3- Why would anyone living in Wales who uses a doctor prefer to revert to paid prescriptions ? they are free in Wales !
4- Does it mean then that if Monmouthshire becomes part of England that the Severn Bridges will then be toll free ?
I await thier reply as I write, but when all is said and done does it even really matter ? I can only wonder what will come next !
By the way, I moved from England to Wales in 04.

it's a daft campaign - monmouthshire is in wales, and i can't think any quantity of people want to move the border.
don't see why the leaflets bother you, though - it's not public money or anything, if ED want to waste their time and money on this it's their problem.
