"Horrified"? You act as if someone's really been hurt here . How much of a break from reality have you had ? Do you think exy's being held in a cell away from his family ? Do you think IM31's home was foreclosed on ? Do you think the next cheat's going to have the mark of Cane carved into the flesh on his forehead ?
You're an idiot . You defend t ...[text shortened]... credibility .
Go pitch your fits someplace else . I for one am sick of your childish tantrums .
DIE TOO.

Agreed. Shav, you are out of line. A cheater deserves no
quarter from this site. We aren't publishing their real names,
sending this information to their jobs, schools or families.
We are informing the community that they have violated the
terms and conditions of the site which they have the privilege
to play.

I think what's getting under my skin is an attitude(imo) that Russ is obliged to conduct himself in a certain way . That he should be held accountable to the membership as if he were an elected official held to a public standard and legal constitution . And further that those who disagree are "going to go after " those who agree with the house rules and their enforcement (Shavi mentioned doing this .)
If someone gets thrown out of a party, the host will them why as in what specifically they did to warrant being tossed. The person will generally have a chance to discuss the matter with the host. No such opportunity is given those who are thrown out of this "party". That still seems fundamentally unfair to me though I have no doubt that unrepentant en ...[text shortened]... actly you stole and why the host thinks you stole it. That seems only common sense and fairness.
If the way Russ enforces the rules seems unfair , then you are right . What I'm saying is - where is it said that he MUST be fair ? No1 , I'm sure that you have something similar to an easy chair , or some such thing at your house which is YOURS . Nobody sits in your chair . If I come to your house for a dinner party and am not allowed to sit in your chair , is that fair ? The only point here being there are unfair and seemingly arbitrary rules and conduct on private propety , and nobody questions this . I'm not going to site chapter and verse , but basicly the TOS says you can be thrown out at the discretion of site admin at any time for any reason . Even if it's just that they don't like the look on your face . It's not fair , but it does not have to be . Russ , and site admin owe me nothing as to "proving" the logic , fairness , wisdom of why they do what they do .

Obviously you haven't bothered to follow the whole story from the furor that led to the creation of the Game Mods in the first place. The existence of the Game Mods came about through user insistence that they be put in place. That being so, it is totally appropriate for the community to comment on their work product.
If you don't find the comments in this thread worth reading, don't read them.
I wont know if something's interesting until I've read it, now will I? 😉🙄😉
Right. Now I've got all that off my chest, let me explain one or two things:
1. You have no absolute proof any of these people are cheaters. You think they're cheaters.
2. The moral finger wagging is the same as what ex-smokers do to smokers and what fundamentalists do in general. I despise it with the deepest corners of my soul (should I have one).
3. Naming and shaming is disgusting. It's gloating and I hate it even more than moral finger wagging.
I'd rather die than be found comatose in the vicinity of any of you do-good, moral-riding, hypocrites.
Since I have no death wish upon myself, I can but hope you all die in horrible ways.
Party on.

2- You're "moral finger wagging" from your side of the issue . Your's is ok , but our's is not ?
3- Site names , but does not shame . If cheater wish not to be named , they could stop cheating . Or they could leave . I think the gloating is a human emotion that comes with winning a game , flaming someone who you don't like , or exhibiting shodenfrieda(sp?) at an enemies . You do this all the time . So if someone wants to gloat about an issue you don't agree with , they should not be allowed to do this simply because you hate it ? Then you wish horrible death on those who disagree ? Christ , you'd fit right in with the republicans over here - you're acting the same .
And as I've pointed out in the past - I find you to be the biggest hypocrite on the site . You're a very self centered and closed minded person . Quite selfish and not at all a nice person when you don't get your way . Grow up Shavi .

True it may be unfair that no one can sit in the comfy chair apart from No1 but it is really quite diverting at his 'hypothetical' parties that we can discuss this injustice.
What you seem to be saying is do as the boss tell you and dont argue.
Well what is the point of having a debate forum at all then?
Quite right there is nothing actually in 'law' that says we can force any changes and also quite right the democracy of our dollars is the way we can really affect change.. if you dont want to play then dont pay.
But frankly supressing the debate by stating the obvious gets us nowhere apart a general consenus that we should all get our coats and give up the conversation.
Lets try a thought game. Say if Russ may be influenced by this debate... does want to create a fair community... is interested in the opinions and ideas of his loyal peasants (or party guests).
If this were true... what kind of justice and punishment system would you like to suggest?
You never know the supreme leader may just be listening in (or is that what you are secretly hoping as you type your somewhat sycophantic posts).
