I need help, can't remember the title, but it was a semi-documentary film about a Irish Catholic group of convents that took in teen-age unwed mothers and made them work in laundrys across the country, keeping them virual slaves until they grew old and died, or went insane. It wasn't from a century ago, they remained open until 1990 or so. Many young girls lost their lives in captivity because they were "frivolous" and their familys abandoned them to the care of a Catholic convent. Anyone got the title?
