Pioneers in any field often look ridiculous by modern standards. What he did was pretty revolutionary for his time. He helped open the door for a lot of people with his "shaking, slurring and lip-raising".
Oh, and then there's his music. Elvis was very talented. He had an amazing voice. Unfortunately, he was a spoiled neurotic rock star (very simi ...[text shortened]... sic scene we have today. I'm thankful for that.
