I understand that you must be frustrated. But you have to understand that Russ did not make me confess. He was fine with this all just being between the two of us. I decided to apologize publicly because I knew it was the right thing to do. I understand the psuedo's, but disagree with the subscription. Everyone has their faults, even you. No one knows what they are and they don't have to. The same is true for me.

After thinking about this for a minute, I've decided to tell why Miss Hope was created. The big "chess freak" scandel had just happened and NO one would stop talking about it. I then created his "sister" to smooth things over, it worked quite well.
Miss Hope was created only to make things better, but really just made things worse.

Now there was a surpricing turn of events here at the forums! Can't pretend to understand, but no hard feelings on my part at least. None of us are without faults, and it was a decent and right thing to do to volunteer to confess and apologise. Not the easiest thing to do either, I suppose.
The "honesty mode" suits you well, and I'm sure that it'll do wonders to heal any damage done.

Just to rub salt in the wounds.
zach918 did confesss, which was great, but it wasn't that the guilt got too much for him - I had do confront him about it. It seemed a bit odd, as he is such a well established and liked player here - but there was evidence.
I was aware of a Zach/Miss Hope connection - but after hearing that 'Miss Hope' was tragically ill (or something), I had to put my normal cynicism to one side, and go with it.
The multiple tournament entries was just so stupid, it was obvious that it would start alarm bells. I'm glad this has brought an end to this sorry chapter of RHP history - and I hope the community here isn't affected by this.
In future, I will confront people who do stuff like this (rare) the moment I suspect - rather than waiting for it to escalate.

and besides, the bright side of all this is now no one has to worry about well grounded earthboy is or how many more kids the big melon is going to have or what the next poem miss hope will write.
it is no doubt written somewhere: "to thine own nick be true". rhp is a community and will no doubt be supportive of one who has been a friend to so many as has zach.
