Certainly a sad and unfortunate situation.
I was wondering why I was "kicked out" of MissHopes Friends Clan. Not a huge loss I suppose, but I joined under the impression that I was helping someone out while they were down.
Oh Well, not the end of the world, but what a kick in the nuts.😲

I don't know about you (sure I do) but I feel my heartstrings were being tugged while someone I thought I knew sat back "having fun"...
A person who is obviously capable of anything.
I also learned a new thing from melon... she said she was the sister of a GM chess player. Why would someone lie? Next she says she was kidding... I've got no choice (I used to think) but to believe what people say to be true.
That has changed. Everyone is full of crap, that is how I let this situation shape my views. I'll get over this, and some might think I'm taking this a bit bad... but no one knows what I shared with this person through PM's.... thinking they were different people with similar situations I went through when I was younger.

edit On second thought, after some chat with pradtf I have decided to not let this situation shape who I am. Like i've already said I will get over this. As prad said... I was not the one fooled, someone else was fooling themselves.

I was playing a game with "earthboy" and he was soliciting me to buy him a star in complete spanish. I am in my 5th year of taking spanish and am pretty good in speaking and writing it, but he seems to be completely fluent in it, you've got a good point Bbarr...

I remember an argument between T1000 and him...don't really remember where it was, but he said something like:
"Just so the community knows, I'm not a liar"
I really didn't know all these things he was doing and talking about it with people... I think I can understand, Trav, how hard it will be for you to trust someone like him again... but I also think that this is the internet, and such things happen on it... you don't know who people truly are, maybe I'm a...can't think of anything right now, but unlike real life, you just have to take for granted what they claim to be...😳
Life and RHP are still great and will be whatever happens, let's keep focused on that!🙂

I appreciate this site and many of the people on it. I think as a whole the community here is a reflection of the good leadership of russ and chris. But it didn't take me long to realize that what you read is not always what you get. You don't know if what someone says is real or even if that person is real.
This thread has taught me something though... that in addition to not getting too emotionally involved with the site or a particular person(s) on the site, it is probably a good idea not to share any information with anyone here until perhaps you've actually met them. Who knows what's out there. I have therefore changed my profile and taken off my picture.
