For Russ's sake, I'm glad this is done with. As for Zach, you're still OK in my book kid. I can't blame people for their mistakes, I just expect them to live up to them. Zach has done that. Zach has done a lot FOR the community here, and I firmly believe that if he stays he will continue to be a positive presence here at RHP. Good intentions sometimes manifest in bad ideas, such is life. Zach or not, 14 or 41, I think he has done a lot of good here and hope he stays. I count Zach among my friends here at RHP, and if he is an imperfect person then I count him even more so, for then he is my equal.

One suggestion would be to label each multiple user IDs to that computer and place it in the profile and "yes" it can be done. I don't know how its done, but I would gladly give Russ or Chris links to other chess sites that employ it. At least we would have known that Zach, Melon and earthboy were from the same computer.

I don't think what he has done is trivial or something to be laughed off. In the real world, yes, of course, it's nothing compared to the 'real bad' things that happen out there, and I wouldn't give it much thought.
But in the context of this community he has done some bad things and I would be offended to see him posting in the forums or have to play him in a clan game.I would like to see all his accounts deleted.I do not believe that this person should contribute in any way to this site.
Speaking of clan games, he actually put his Zach account up against his Miss Hope account to win a clan game for the Fun Clan.

quite frankly, I don't think the community will miss him/her/it. However, a life ban does seem harsh, but I do feel that "zach" should have his pawnstar(s) status revoked, due to the irrepairable damage done - how many people are going to step forward and sponsor people who REALLY need it. Those wasted sponsorships of Miss Hope etc could have gone to someone who deserved it.
SirLoseaLot: you are a much bigger man than most to be able to forgive so easily. although $15 is not a great deal of money to some, the betrayal of your generousity is disgraceful and unforgivable in my book
