Do a virus scan just in case.

Probably a driver issue.

Indeed, it seems sometimes my mouse seems to drift in a certain direction, I move it again and it stops, but never has it started clicking icons; sounds a lot like a virus to me.

I'm no PC expert, but I'd still be paranoid. A mouse shouldn't click on icons all by itself, regardless of whether it's online or offline. I'd still check it for viruses, since a virus could have hijacked your PC. You might want to restart your PC in safe mode before running the virus scanner.

My computer mouse did the same type of thing. The Computer mouse was malfunctioning. A new computer mouse fixed the problem.

Yes? But this seems almost inteligent, he is pretty precise with finding and clicking one of a few icons on my desktop. My scanner did not find anything but it is not exactly up to date..

And is it normal that when you restart computer cd rom box closes by itself? I hope so

most likely there's some garbage interfering with the beam, or the mouse is just plain broken. you can find it out by borrowing another mouse to see if it's as wild.

oh right, garbage in the beam doesn't solve the problem with random clicking...

Have you changed your batteries in the mouse. Sometimes a low charge can cause faulty optic charges.
