Anybody have any tips for me?

I've been training for about 10 years on and off and fought as a pro. My advice is to be fit. Good technique will get you fans but fitness will win the fight. Keep it simple. Work off the jab, get a strong round house and learn how to knee. Practice left jab right straight and right kick on the bag until you can do it in your sleep. When you're tired in the ring and feeling pain knowing how to work a simple combination will get you out of trouble.Don't give up if you get beat. Work on what you need to work on. Try out a few gyms. I tried 2 gyms before i found a good trainer.
The last thing is want to win. The fight will last 5 round depending on the rules but it is won in training. Step into the ring like it is where you belong and it is the only place you ever want to be. Good luck

am just about to head out the door for it. Got a flu on Thursday, so my fitness isn't great at the moment, but the fight is only 3x2 minute rounds, so hopefully I'll be able to last that.
Left, right, roundhouse is the one drill that we do every single night in training.
Anyway, thanks to everyone for their words of support and advice.
