Went to a funeral this week. They had been married 50 years.
It was easy for the priest to make the case for marrige.
I have thumbs- up for marriage.
Marriage was invented by men to control women.
So go guy go
Slip her in the trap and control her.

I first dated my wife the last week of March and we were married the first week of May. We've been married for 28 years. I think that it's just a roll of the dice.

Do you feel lucky, punk, well do you...sorry, couldn't help it.

you've been together for a few YEARS, and she's still waiting? you should be ashamed of yourself. if she leaves you, you deserve it, and you'll be kicking yourself later for being such a thick witted douche.
God, sometimes I wonder how women put up with us. All they want is to be loved and appreciated, and we just doot-de-doo around waiting for something better to come along. I know from experience, i was a jerk too.

Why do so many people consider marriage as having a necessary connection to love? You don't need to get married because you love someone and you don't have to stop loving them if you don't get married. Personally I fail to see the point in marriage, unless it's for tax purposes.

There are a lot of good legal reasons to get married, but it is one of those things where you "render unto Cesar what belongs to Cesar and to God what belongs to God."

I think it's mostly the other way around today.

I'll give you a good hypothetical question to ask a bride. Given a choice, which would you rather have? A fancy wedding, queen for a day and all that or a down payment on a nice house?

This may sound like a sexist approach, but I could easily ask questions for men as well.

ive just married for the second time in my life.i vowed never to marry again after my first marriage of 20 yrs broke up .my wife vowed the same after her marriage of 20 yrs broke up. we both married again because of our love and we wanted everyone to know it.we were both committed to each other for some time privately but to publicly announce it! wow. she is my soul mate and i believe that is the real reason for marriage.if your partener is your soul mate, there is no debate about marriage ect
