My party political programme

My party political programme

I was just day-dreaming about being the leader of a political party. This is highly unusual for me, for normally I day dream about killing conservatives or shagging anything with 2 legs and a pulse.

Anyways, I was driving over a speed bump and thought to myself: "None of the political parties here in Holland want to rid the world of the evilness which is speed bumps."

Now, why is that?
So, if I was the leader of a political party, this would be my manifesto:

No more speed bumps
As per direct, all speed bumps have to be destroyed and the road flattened to create smooth driving. If speed restraints are needed in built up areas where children run amok, speed cameras will be put in place.

No more speed cameras on motorways
Motorways will have speed limits during busy driving times and at dangerous junctions. Other than these exceptions motorways will only have 'recommended' speeds. No cameras.

Paid parking will be abolished
No more paid parking. Anywhere!

Now, not all my manifesto will be about cars:

legalised drugs
Drugs will be legalised and readily and cheaply available at special 'drugs stores'. Good quality, proper education on the effects and usage, etc.

Education will be free
Basic schooling and the first university degree will be free. After that money will be charged.

No more army
Basically a very small elite force will be trained so they can take out military leaders and government officials.
If we need to go to war, then we'll kill those responsible and not the civilians. We'll save plenty of money due to the fact that we don't need to invest in expensive aircraft and millions of bombs.

Free public transport
All public transport will be free. It can work, look at Hasselt in Belgium.

Free housing
Housing will be free. An x-amount of room for everyone. Should you want more, then you pay.

Free basic food supplies
A healthy diet will be offered to all, free of charge. Anything extra will be paid for.

Free basic neccesities
Electricity, gas, water, etc. will be free. No grandma's will die of hypothermia during my reign.
Businesses, etc. will pay for these items.

Would you vote for me?

If you could prove that you could provide all of these services without charging extra tax or sending the country into complete economic breakdown.

In principle I might vote for you, especially where business pays for it. Look at Tescos, the greedy xxxxs, and on top of it all, they take your money and then have the audacity to lend it back to you.... with interest !!!
hmm, every little helps ....what a load of xxxx !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a heartbeat!

Your platform beats the bejesus out of anything the current hypocritical bastard politicos spout now...

And if you can get all this through, I'm guessing you could also probably wedge in something about killing conservatives, too 🙂

How would you compensate all the current homeowners who would lose all their equity (the value of their property) overnight?

I'd vote for the last six and a half. Maybe I'd support 60% of your candidates in select constituencies and have the rest quietly bumped off.

i think it's do-able, altho from Shav's posts elsewhere it seems he may need a double-wide ...

here is the full text at the link provided, a couple of pictures there give the flavor ...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capsule_hotel

"A capsule hotel (Japanese カプセルホテル kapuseru hoteru) is a hotel system of extremely dense occupancy. Guest space is reduced in size to a modular plastic or fibreglass block roughly 2 m by 1 m by 1 m, providing room to sleep and little more, although facilities usually include a television and other electronic entertainment. These capsules are then grouped and stacked, two units high. Luggage is usually stored in a locker away from the capsule. Privacy is maintained by a curtain at the open end of the capsule but noise pollution can be high. Washing facilities are communal and there are often restaurants, or at least vending machines, and other entertainment facilities.

This style of hotel accommodation was developed in Japan and has not gained acceptance outside of the country. The Japanese capsule hotels vary widely in size, some having only fifty or so capsules and others over 700, and are often male only. Clothes and shoes are exchanged for a yukata and slippers on entry. The benefit of these hotels is price, usually around 3000-4000 yen a night (23-30 €/27-36 $), and convenience.

The first capsule hotel was the Capsule Inn Osaka, in the Umeda district of Osaka. It opened in 1977 and the initial room rate was 1,600 yen (12 €, 14 $)."

first step in the party's "capsule flat" public acceptance program is to picture Shav in a yukata: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yukata

(edit: actually they are quite comfortable.)

Just like Socialism, good ideas, but impossible to put into action. There's just too much curruption inherent in the system. Unfortunately, it's not man's nature to be moral.

So, yes, I'd vote for you. But just on principle and secure in the knowledge that you'd have no chance of winning.

Anyone giving such freedom to those polluting and destroying cars and car drivers should get something else than a vote...

Maybe not, when they realize that what they are paying for is no massive corporations to derail the political process for their own financial gain, resulting in no one to pay wads and wads of cash to the politicians. The government could truly belong to the people.

Not to mention no annoying television or radio ads, and your newspaper could be reduced to a convenient 8.5 x 11 notebook size, without all the ads.

The list is not endless...
