NEOGOUTAM does not respect chess.. I accepted a game with him with no time bank and as I cant make moves over the weekend I placed my vacation flag up and even sent him an email with the following content ...

This is nonsense and should not be tolerated.

i accepted the game earlier in the week and thought it would be finished by then.. this is understandable question but the issue is secondary to my thoughts however.

The idea of taking a game is to learn and to finish the game not to take the easy way out when you are losing.. If the player was winning the game at that point I would have had no issues with him timing out the game... ANY OF YOU PEOPLE WHO POST COMMENTS ABOUT WHY WOULD YOU ACCEPT A GAME WITH NO TIMEBANK ARE MISSING THE FREAKIN POINT

Not secondary at all. Instead of comlaining about it, you should consider it a lesson learned and either be more prudent when accepting games or less whiny when timed out.

But you weren't on vacation. That could be deemed to be abuse of the vacation flag.

In future, take on games with a 3 day timeout so you can take the weekends off. This is correspondence chess afterall, and it is quite likely that a game will last more than 5 days. 1/0 games could theoretically last 2 or 3 months quite easily.
