@Torunn saidGordon Ramsey heard, via the grapevine, about this opportunity and contacted me, asking if the position was still available. I’ll have him contact you. He does swear a lot.😲
There are still 2-3 open positions - Chef and kitchen helper(s).
I have decided to turn down the offer from the Swedish Chef, because of his unpredictability: his meatballs were never round enough to roll in the frying-pan, and he totally ignored the lingonberries. Also, there was never a quiet moment in the kitchen and he kept upsetting the ingredients.
@Torunn saidTorunn's Tavern is pleasing to say, due to the alliteration.

... or The Family Farm Inn, Torunn's Inn - perhaps Inn is better than Tavern?
@Great-Big-Stees saidHe is a very good chef but - as you say - he does swear a lot and what's worse, he tends to humiliate the kitchen staff. If he can assure us that he is a better person now than he used to be, then maybe...

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidYes, you have a point, so we'll go for Torunn's Tavern.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidIf the servers wore a certain kind of outfit perhaps it might be called Torunn’s Terrifically Titillating Tavern?🤔🫢

I talked with Gordon Ramsay, he rang me a while ago. Although being interested in our proposition, he regrets he can't guarantee that he won't use swearwords or even be very loud and critical - it's part of his nature, he said. So we agreed that for now the best thing for us is to hire another chef. So the two top names are off. The search continues... 🙂
@Torunn saidJamie Oliver called saying he’d heard there might be an opportunity for him at Torunn’s. Expect a call…or text.👍

"Stop being a vegan and start enjoying what you eat."
Jamie Oliver
@Torunn saidI spoke with him late last night and he said he’d love to take on the challenge and asked if it’d be OK if Jimmy joined him…Jimmy Doherty. I said I’d ask Torunn…so what do ya think?🤔

@Torunn saidI believe so. Now we move on to the bouncer. Any suggestions? Maybe the Swedish chef because when he talks nobody understands him any any “troubler maker” will gladly leave just to get away from his hammering.🤔👍
Great, kitchen problems may be solved then. 🙂
@Great-Big-Stees saidThat reminds me of someone we know, but instead perhaps I had better recommend Jason Momoa and/or Dave Bautista -- because even the worst troublemakers would probably feel honored to be bounced by either of them.

Thumbs up re: Jamie Oliver.
@Torunn saidJust as well. We wouldn't want a murder scandal to tarnish the re-opening.
