I just clicked on the RHP blitz and it looks like there is no change from when it was introduced. Or does any of you see any changes?

What changes would you like to see?

Apart from rated games.

Like what we get on PlayChess. See a few screenshots here http://www.chesshouse.com/fritz_10_chess_software_review_part_2.asp

- kibbitz games e.g watch the top rated players slugging it out.
- rated challenges
- a C client is better than a Macromedia Flash interface. I understand the source for ICC/FICS is available for free so something along those lines is better than an applet type thingy. It is too much like Yahoo now the way it is.

I'd much rather see a gamesexplorer update than tinkerings with the blitz thingy😛

I would like to see something that tells you when, or how long ago a game was started.

Money is not the issue. If RHP Blitz as a product is not comparable to what is out there, then something is wrong somewhere. Even though FICS is free and there is Yahoo Chess for 1500 level players, PlayChess is worth every cent.

Some say ICC is good but it looks to me like Winboard with some bells and whistles.

If money is not an issue, pay up.

Or maybe it's just that RHP is a CC site, and RHP Blitz is only an added feature which isn't meant to compete with sites specialising on blitz.

I have just won a simul over a GM on PlayChess. I'm a live chess sort of person and I struggle to even play all 6 of my available slots. Even if I subscribed I would not play more than a handful of CC games? Is it worth subscribing in my case?

I can see how having 30, 50 or even a hundred games going appeals to some folk but I haven't got that time on my hands.

Head over to site announcements and site ideas. If you spend any amount of time in those forums you'll realise Russ has a to-do list as long as my p... *ahem* arms, and he also does work away from RHP (to provide an altaernative income which I guess ultimately keeps costs down for us the subscribers).

So quit whinging and be thankful for what this site offers already.

P.s. If you want to see how long my arms are, check out rhpfaces.

then don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out.

why do people constantly try to make this site about live chess when it is clearly a correspondence site? the blitz chess thing was just a simple add-on to give a little something different. it's not, and never will be, what this site is about.

you think PlayChess is so cool? then go, knock yourself out. just don't try to make this site into it.

Where can we see nude photos of you?
And I don't think it should be pay per view.

I notice that you do not pay for this site, but yet are demanding improvements.......Just thought i'd point this out.
