Not attempting to steal the thunder of the number one album thread but on the desert island scenario where more important than getting off the island or eating would be a working dvd player and tv (electricity always magically available) what would be the movie (and only 1 movie - none other) you could watch over and over again?
Tough list - but I think I would have to pick Shawshank Redemption.

Matthew Broderick saving the world, what more could you wish for? And he's running and jumping and kissing (but not swimming) with Ally Sheedy!
It has stood the test of time, and can be seen over and over again.
hmm difficult...
I surprise myself, but actually I'd go fot a German movie (yeah... go figure... about the only German movie I ever thought was pretty good). It's called "Traumschiff Surprise" and a parody on starship enterprise... sort of. Anyway, it's pretty damn funny and afterwards I'd be able to recite the whole thing by heart... like half of all the other german teenagers.
If I had to go for a hollywood movie... I'd go for Not a Girl with Britney Spears... My idol. Nah just kidding, I never even bothered to watch the movie... I just assumed it must be crap if the main actress is about as intelligent as a bread crumb...
I'd probably go for one of those romantic, very dramatic love movies... that would make the loss of society seem bearable.
Angie 😀

But since you insist on us only naming ONE, then I'll have to name...
