Since the conversation in the London Meet-Up thread seems to have turned to a similar event in the US and/or Canada, I figured I'd start a new thread for the purpose of discussing that.

Geographically, we're covering a much larger territory, so I thought it might be worthwhile to consider two meet-ups, one for the eastern half of the continent, and ...[text shortened]... r to central).

For the west, I'm thinking Denver or San Francisco.

What do you all think?
Not San Francisco....too damn expensive and the smell of chit and piss permeates Fisherman's Wharf....plus the militant queers will barge in with their Village People costumes and take over....Mayor Gavin Newsome leading the charge.....

That sounds like my kind of gig!

Macon, Georgia. Cheap, multi-cultural (African), extensive southern hospitality before you're robbed, hot-broiling summers. Lake Tobesofkee, Bibb county's pristine man-made lake...don't mind the floating turds..only 48km from Atlanta.....

I'm afraid we are talking about way too much travel for all but a select few no matter where is picked. A state meet for a particular group would probably have more chance of success. I imagine we would all enjoy a meet up like they had in London, but I can't afford the time or money to travel 1,000+ miles to do it. I wish I could...

Oh, it's still there. Although it's gone to sh-t recently.

As much as I'd love to do a Regional meet-up, I'm really hoping that a bigger one may materialise. I know it's pretty unlikely, but I'm crossing my fingers.

But anytime you Canucks want to get together, just let me know...
