Phlabby lives in Rhode Island, not Boston. It seems to me that Boston isn't that good geographically speaking; you can hardly go further north and east. Washington or Philly or Pittsburgh would seem to be better locations if you're trying to maximize attendance from people in the eastern half of the US and Canada.

no1 is right. Boston is in a bit of a corner and is much farther away than alot of other cities. The one which is chosen should at least be somewhat equidistant from everybody. On second thought, I'm changing my pick of Boston to either Philly or D.C., whichever is more favorably looked upon. I still think NYC is a good choice though.

Of course Mpls would be right in the center. And an airport main hub. Just a though. I may be able to get use of the cabin on the lake for a week (just north and west of Brainerd), if people don't mind sleeping in a tent.
