Maybe to be fair it should be in the geographic center of the contiguous lower 48 states...about 4 miles west of Lebonon, Kansas.

Count me out. I don't fancy my chances of finding all 8 pawns after the tornado hits.😠

I've been to Kansas.

If I'm late, do start without me....

Then again, I don't fancy my chances of making it out of there with all my teeth. Them there hillbillies might get me all drunked up on fire water and hijack my chomps so they can give them to ma for christmas.

Who said I was against a vote?? I was giving my take on some information other people might not have thought about. Everybody seems to be voting for what's most convenient for THEM, not what would be most convenient for the greatest number. If you don't think I'm correct that Boston isn't the geographical best choice, fine; what's with making it personal?
Didn't mean to be nasty, my apologies.😳
I agree with you, "geographically" Boston is not the logical choice. But what if the greatest # of RHP'ers live in that area?

Why wouldn't you vote for your own self-interests? If you don't no one else will. That's why we each get to vote silly.😉

As you may have guessed, I am not a big fan of the socialist philosophy.😲

Live free or die.

I'd say the hell with Boston. Its in a corner and therefore out of the way for most people. Philly which is one of the favorites, is more centralized and easily accessible for most. Not a far trip for some of those in Canada. I think, and you all are welcome to debate ofcourse, that Philly should be the place for the east. If so chosen, then we'd need someone in that area to arrange.
1. If it's in the corner and out of the way for "most" people, then why have so many people vote for Boston?🙄

2. Philly is also good.

3. Boston is only 6 hours from Montreal by car.

4. I will not debate someone who doesn't use logic. I would love to play a game of chess with you tho'.

I too voted for Boston. no1 pointed out that its a bit out of the way. This being after Boston got so many votes. Thus it is illogical to choose it. I didnt think of the fact that its in a corner and only accesible on the grand scale from 2 directions. regardless, be it boston, or be it philly, be it NYC or baltimore. what the hell, if its in Rio, i promise we'll play.

Boston is in the corner of the country. However, it's convenient for most Eastern Canadians. But more importantly, it got the most votes. So therefore, the most people must want it there. Although this doesn't take into account people's second or third choices, I'd say it's a pretty good indication of what people want. But this wasn't a very official poll.

That's why I think we need an official vote like the London meetup had. This will get this idea back on track.

Indeed. I would prefer Boston because it is closer for me. The only thing better about philly, is that its more centralized. It would attract more people from the SE and possibly from the midwest, while at the same time not terribly far for us Northeasterners. Besides, anybody from toronto/montreal or NH/vermont/maine, those far north places, can simply drive to Albany, NY and ride with me. I've got 2 maybe 3 open seats in my car.
