Does anyone know how to suspend protection in Norton? We recently upgraded at work and i can no longer see anywhere to turn the firewall off for a minute while i do something. Anyone? 🙁

Well he asked about Norton, so you can assume Mac is not an option.
Marik, if you hit msconfig in the run window, you can kill norton from starting when you restart the comp. That is a bit extreme I know, but I have had nothing but annoyances from Norton, it is so invasive, taking up a bunch of cpu time basically for nothing, its as if you are expected to get a virus attack every ten milliseconds.

And this is why I got rid of Norton and got McAfee.
I really didn't get the first part of your reply... I got WXP and McAfee Runs on it...

Mcafee is as bad as Norton isn't it?

I think that it is quite lighter on your computer... At leats onn the few times I go to windows now the computer seems to be faster.
