We were having a discussion in Spirituality and @KellyJay said that I and some other atheists were denying evidence right in front of our eyes. I pointed out that, just going by what one sees, one would think that the whole universe revolves around the Earth, and that it requires a huge intellectual leap to understand that the Earth goes round the sun, but the moon goes round ...[text shortened]... It seems that times do change, ergo nostalgia, but I do remember a time years ago when some witty banter here and there made the GF seem more inviting, e.g., Ghost and moonbus trading absurd "insults" such as, "Your cologne clashes with your tie."

Something I wish I could be nostalgic about is unprompted apologies re: false accusations or misinterpretations.

That would have been nice.
