@Torunn saidI loved her beautiful charm and ability; a woman of substance imo.
And here she is:

I would have happily married her, even as her being Sybil. In fact I think I might have done just that!
What a wonderful actress; she held Faulty Towers together as Sybil and was the perfect foil for Basil’s pompous ludicrousness.
Cleese and Booth wrote the lines, but my goodness Scales absolutely owned them; she was magnificent in poise, character architecture and delivery timing.
The missus and I loved her very much as an actress, and we enjoyed her and husband on the canals too.
A sad moment of theatrical loss.
@Great-Big-Stees saidYou're right, sorry about that. Why haven't I missed him earlier??
He died in 2022.
@Great-Big-Stees saidYes, I just assumed he was alive and happy.
Maybe because you hadn’t heard anything about him for 3 years and you forgot him?π€π
@Torunn saidWell he’s not the former but one never knows about the latter.π€
Yes, I just assumed he was alive and happy.
@Ponderable saidMust look him up on youtube.
Paul Ekman died 91 years old.
He is well known for his work on "micro-expressions". Some might have seen the series "lie to me" which was based on his work and where he acted as a consultant.
