I read that he was in hospital with multiple organ failure. Sad to hear of his passing. All my generation, these guys: Young, David Cassidy, Tom Petty. The Stones are looking cadaverous these days, too.

He now has died. I loved David Cassidy when I was young.
So sad that he should have developed dementia and alcoholism.

He lived to become 98 years old.
