I'm an Indigenious American, for the first time since I was a young girl, I see true hope not only for all Indigenous people, but true equality for all. I was telling my 16 yr old to remember this day. Which got me to remember things I have seen in my lifetime.
For those who can remember this. If you recall the photos reel of the shooting of JFK ...[text shortened]... t Spirit to bless Barack Black Eagle. may the Creator guide him in all he is to take on and do.
Kitaakitomattsino, Firebird!
Best regards to Kazoe too

lostapache, thank you for your heartfelt post. I have the honour of being married to a lady from America, and we both feel that your words say it all, and we share your wishes for this courageous new leader of the world's greatest nation. Kia ora to you from New Zealand.
Why are you honoured to be married to someone from the US? I suppose one would either be honoured to be married to a lady no matter what, regardless of which country she's from, or not be honoured at all.
There's more to this world than America, and if I see this makes-no-sense-election process, the first thought that pops into my head is not 'Wow, this must be the greatest nation of the world'!

Still doesn't make it 'the world's greatest nation'. There might be more to it than that.
P.S. Definitely not saying it should be The Netherlands. This country sucks.

No that'd be Canada.
😉😏
Consumer capitalism, closing down manufacturing in the western world, moving money across national borders to make private profits on cheap goods for a corporate few, has turned China into the next big player on the world stage. 😲 India and Brazil are waiting in the wings...
By then, of course, and not too far in the future either, WalMart will be the Church of Choice of the New America Firsters 😉 Canada will have put up a Wall 😀
