davaniel, first let me say it is a matter of supreme indifference to me what thought may or may not "pop into" your head at any moment in time. You are entitled to your thoughts, as am I, and there is no requirement on either of us to agree on any matter, that is what freedom is about. As for my reasons for what I posted, my comments were addressed to alost ...[text shortened]... t that is my personal opinion and I neither ask nor require anyone else to validate it for me.

Why do you think the USA's the world's greatest nation, being from New-Zealand as well?
Why are you honoured to be married to someone from the US? I suppose one would either be honoured to be married to a lady no matter what, regardless of which country she's from, or not be honoured at all.

I'm sincerely happy for you that you're happily married, but there were some 'America's great' things in the post that made no sense to me.

As for your first snide comment, the purpose of my 'pop into head thought' sentence was obviously not to make you very interested in the thoughts I have at any time. It was just a manner of speaking, as I thought would be pretty clear.
Other than that, just enjoy life and don't feel offended by any forum post at all. That's not worth it.

Err... What part of "I think xe's lying about who xe says xe is" didn't you understand?
Like I said, another post goes right over your head. Did you really think she was actually saying that she's JFK Jr.? Wow. Really?
Give it up, man, your ignorance/arrogance is obscuring the rest of this thread.

I also believe I have a right to address my comments to a particular person, even though it is done in a public forum if I choose to do so. By the way, it is sad to see you write that The Netherlands is not a great place, because the gentleman who taught me to play chess many decades ago, came from there, and I will be forever grateful to him.
