Odd Things You Do

General

Any odd or peculiar habits you have? Normal tasks you may approach from a different angle of attack?

Whenever I read a magazine I start at the back cover and work my way to the front cover. I don't know when I started this but it remains my habit to this day.

OK fellow oddballs, confess.

I constantly hum, as is always pointed out by family members..."Mum he's humming".

That's crazy. I thought I was the only one on the planet who reads magazines from back to front. I guess I'm not so special after all ☹️

Japanese magazines read from back-to-front.

Are you saying that Japanese magazines are not regular magazines?...I wouldn't dare to go there! 😉

i have a slight ocd...
when i get a new pair of sneakers,
and i pull the wad of packing paper from the inside,
i sniff it, the aroma of new shoe is mesmerizing...
and then i get to lace up my new kicks...
i pull the laces out of the shoes, no matter how they came from the factory...
then very carefully i lace them from the toe up to the instep with the inside laces going over outside laces...

if i have to draw you a picture,
tough titty, smitty...

gawd i love new shoes...

edit for spelling,
i know, i know, ocd, right???

Humming as in singing? Or as in a refrigerator running?

Yes you are. There there, be calm now.

Humming isn't singing, it is more like a whining sound. 😉

A certain poster, under a curse,
Spontaneously breaks into verse,
And though we have alerted the nurse,
He remains, as ever, terse,
And, to rhymes most odd, not averse.
But I suppose it could be worse.

Damn, Rusty, you are the poster boy for missing the point.
