Lemon on pancakes, that just sounds bizarre. Oh, wait, maple trees don't grow in the UK, do they? And I mean the sugar maple, from which we get maple syrup and the leaf of which is featured on the Canadian flag. I guess you have to make do when you don't have proper pancake topping.

Whenever I read a magazine I start at the back cover and work my way to the front cover. I don't know when I started this but it remains my habit to this day.
