Damn Tim McGraw. I've had this song stuck in my head now for four days.

Either that or get me drunk. Both will do.

Wednesday's are always good especially since I don't have class Thursday and don't have to be at work until 5:30 in the evening.

So you're on number six? Unfortunately I'm at work. 🙁

EDIT: Drink one for me, mate.

Naa. I'm at the library right now, finishing up something for Friday. But if I was drinking, you could be sure that I would probably have two for you.

Bah, studying is overrated. Drinking is much better and it's a better career move to be known as a lush than as an intelligent, disciplined man. 😉

Cheers mate.

LOL, I tried that as an undergrad. One day I woke up and had a BS in mathematics (and biology but I try not to talk about that one).

Me too. Ended with a BS in economics and a job for the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Developement. That sucked donkey balls.

I wasn't able to land a job so I decided to go for my master's degree. All the jobs I wanted either wanted an MS or experience and since I had no experience, I had no other choice. I could have gotten experience somewhere, come to think of it...

They wanted me to work more hours, and I said goodbye. Now I'm stuck on my thesis. Good thing I have chess to take my mind off things 😛
They all ask for experience. In the end I've found it's a matter of who you know.
But it must be hard finding jobs, when you're a math major. Are you teaching already?

No, I'm not the teaching type. I tried to be more of an applied mathematician. It's kind of hard to make a living as a pure mathematician, unless you want to teach.

Right now, I'm in environmental planning. I figured that it would combine both my math and biology background so that it doesn't feel like I wasted five years of my life. 😲

I know some guys who used to study math. They changed to game design instead. Guess it's more fun and better job opportunities.

How does that work (environmental planning)? People are big on the enviroment in Denmark, so you should come here.

If they offer me a job, I will. It entails a variety of things such as management of resources to developing plans for the future with respect to the environment (like air, soil, and water impacts and such).

It's really interesting.
