I've give up already. Power bar keeps freezing which is spoiling the game for me. You can't even anticipate it because #it just takes it as you hitting the button where the bar has frozen.
Utter crap!

OKay. Thanks everyone for 'advice'. [I know that you are all trying to kill me really].
Second query. I can;t seem to play a full round. I just keep getting this 'nearest the hole'. I want to play some real golf. Do I need to pay credits or am I missing something?
Oh and my username is 'WoodYou'
Click Select Course
Select Oakmont (easier)
Wait for load
Still on left select Play Single Player
New page, on right click Stroke Play
Hope that helps
Edit!~
Also, don't do what I did. I switched only my Driver to the starter clubs. Switch them all, but perhaps not the putter. If you like the slower swing bar, switch them all back.
Watch all the tutorials also, took a good 15 strokes off my game.

Certain courses only allow closest to the pin.
