I'd already responded. See above. The dictionary definitions didn't really suit what you're saying did they? 😀
So why are you talking to me? You should be talking to your dictionary, because your dictionary can explain everything you need to know.

I am not saying you did characterize them. As far as I know you reproduced them verbatim, which did not address the issue of the basis on which you disputed my characterization of what you claimed to mean by the word "henpecked".

Yes, but not so much inadequacy or weakness or lack of macho as perhaps simply not wanting women giving him grief for not agreeing with them.
Do you have any other arguments that oppose the women's rights agenda other than this one ~ apparently ~ about the psychology of men who disagree with you on this issue?

Do you understand the concept behind the meaning of a period... you know, that little dot that appears at the end of a thought?

Or [Handy Andy] may be in complete agreement with [women advocating women's rights], which I'm sure is the positiion he takes or will take if he hasn't done so already.
Well if he is in complete agreement with them ~ and if this renders your whole "hendpecked" thing rather redundant ~ then what else have you got to argue in opposition to his stance on women's rights?

Wow... you really have no idea what I've been talking about.

I'll tell you what, you just keep on talking as though I'm still here and pretend to respond to anything you think I'm saying even though I won't be saying anything until I get up tomorrow and have a chance to catch up on our imaginary conversation.

I'll take that as a "no" then.

"The Twilight Zone". TV series 1959–1964. Back when it was the men who wore the trousers and the good women did not wear those miniskirts. 😉

Do you often indulge in passive aggressive mischaracterizations of an opponents viewpoint? Or have you just taken a special interest in me?

By the way, have you beaten your wife today? [Yes or no]

That's not his modus operandi. He taunts his wife into hitting him, then calls the police and plays the victim.
