queenalice has no teams.
chessnetworld requires you to find 6 others to even field a team.
schemingmind has become predominantly a variant chess site.
chess colony, i.e, gameknot, has a great board but the forum is very
quiet.
chessage has a nice board but only about 1400 players...sometimes you have to wait quite a while to play.
chesshere is ok...but the colors on the chessboard are very strange.
chessknights is free...colors are good...not too many players
academic chess is excellent for those serious about chess.
chessatwork is where i play but there are alot of foolish people in the forums.
yadda yadda yadda..i could go on...

i just posted comments about 9 sites i have once played on and a message came up reporting that my post was deleleted for offensive
material...so i guess the chessatwork computer is programmed against one of the names i mentioned..hmmm..wonder which chess
site triggered the automatic block ?

They don't have the "diversity" that RHP has. No debate or spirituality forums (some topics are not allowed). Generally speaking I find their forums more, let's say "genteel." As to their functions...I'd say it's a matter of taste.

Because it's set up as part of the same system as the swear filter, if you use a lot in one post then robomod automatically blocks the pos ...[text shortened]... t what it was designed to do I've overridden robomod and your post is visible.
