I won a game like that. They had me in a draw possition. But I played till they got out of one and I won it.
If the player with the lone king plays correctly there's no other result than a draw,it's a basic tecnique which can be found in all basic endgames books.

You are wrong.
You cant make the move because the Software wont let you.
You can cut and paste dictionaries for the rest of your life if you feel the need.
Illegal moves are not possible at RHP.
The legality of an ingame move at this site will never be an issue.
Understand?
I was talking chess in general, not RHP. Illegal means 'against the rules of a game'. This doesn't mean that you can do it at RHP... you don't have a clue as to what is even being talked about here.
You asked how I could even think you can make an illegal move at RHP. I don't think you can. You should probably stay quiet if you can't follow what is going on. I will cut and paste what I feel fits, you are the one who is not following what is going on.
If I talk about chess, don't assume I am talking about RHP. They are 2 different things. Get it? I doubt it....

If I were playing a game in a club and my opponent started to complain to the room that the game we were playing is a draw and I refused to accept it, and some one standing there gave him any kind of advise right or wrong I would immidiately get up and leave the table. If it was a tournament they would tear up my opponents card and throw out the spectator.
Third party answers no matter how right or wrong ARE against the TOS here at RHP.
If you are not one of the two parties playing the game.....you....are....a third party.
You may not be the one asking or implying, but it does make you a party to something not quite above board.

Sorry
Originally posted by PhlabibitMy apologies to arrakis and Ravello. It seems that the definition of illegal has expanded in modern English to include rules violations, not just violations of law. I stand corrected. Thanks for your gentle correction, Phlabby.
You can't make that move at RHP because it is illegal!
Looks like you two dimwits don't know how to use a dictionary.
