Please read Het Blumper's post again. He asked people to note their location. He asked some other things, too, but nobody seems to care. 😉

I would (although I don't have to, because I wasn't invited). 🙂

Thanks Nordlys. It's nice to know at least one person around here actually reads what I take time to type....😉

Option 1 - "Soon" - January/February timeframe (snow could be a mitigating factor)
Option 2 - "Spring" - March/April timeframe (weather should be better, but do you want to wait that long?)
Option 3 - "Later" - May/June timeframe (weather will be nice, but will you still be playing chess then?)

Let's see what the consensus is. By the way, wh ...[text shortened]... l take to get to Philly, and how likely you think it will be that you can attend.

Have at it!
Option 3 - "Later". Yes, I will still be playing chess then. 🙂
Bodø. A looong time. If it's the last weekend of June, I'll almost certainly attend. If it's any other date, I won't.

Last week of June sounds good to me, I''l be on vacation then anyway. The true joy of being a teacher. Not that I would have to travel to far anyway though 😛

-even though i voted for spring, summer would be just as good. weather is getting very cold here in philly today and its supposed to stay that way now. So I would just scratch the entire idea of soon

In the absence of Mr. B., I think I should point out that it's a good thing you're not an "English" teacher.

You should capitalize 'i'.
Please don't start a sentence with 'and'.
All sentences should be ended with a period.
