Unrated games are nice that way - it really doesn't matter how a game ends. If I make one good move that I'm proud of, it is a good game for me.

The only games that mean anything and some disagree with that is the Clan Games, in my opinion. All the others are fun games.

I know the feeling old friend, my chess game has dropped to. Some say I carry too many games. The only games as I said I take seriously is my Clan Games and I lose both games sometimes against players I should do better against. I was going through a period of time where my better half was having a lot of pain turned out to be gall bladder. Now for most it is a simple operation but she is diabetic so they had to wait a few days until her blood thinner count was down low enough or she would have bled out on the table during the operation. So I wasn't concentrating on my moves my focus was off, it only takes one bad move to lose a game, one just can't recover some times. Thankfully all turned out well and she is doing fine now. I don't worry much about anything, but I was actually very concerned about her.

'Some say I carry too many games.' Some might be right, dear chap! I don't know how long you devote to this every day, of course, but you are clearly diligent about it, having not lost any games by timeout, but 250 + games? I reckon 10 is about my limit....

Yes, my chess friend I see your point, but I have been playing chess for many decades, one would think I should be a lot better player than I am. I am very inconsistent and seem to get more so as I get older.
