So now we have seven players for the game, which seems like a fair amount.
I could start it now...

However, we do want 10, but I don't want to keep everyone waiting.

So, in the spirit of fairness, I have set myself a deadline for starting the game tomorrow at around 9:00 pm (GMT) -ish; anyone else who wants to join the game as well will have to register there and send me their username and email address before then.


Anyone who has anyone trouble getting the game to work should contact me, or preferably use this thread.

I think Reinfeld might be setting up a game as well. Make sure you set it up between you so we get as many on board as possible.

The game is good... needs a bit of work on graphics but the concept is excellent.

reinfield set one up, but he decided not to play himself, so did some others, so we started from scratch.

Accidently leaning on the keyboard before I included everyone, I have had to create two games.

I had some trouble getting my password emailed to me, so after consulting the admin I got it, and the passwords of some of the others playing, just ask for it if you need it.

oh, yes, no problems there...

I just am not sure WTF I should be doing...

For example, I'm sure in the beginning we should be trying to raise production, but I'm not sure how to do that.

Every time I press start game 33, it tries to start the application and then....nothing happens. So I can't see or get into the game.

I had some trouble getting it working originally, I think you might need to open the program with the appropriate java script file for it to work.

I used this out of one of the forums there:

To activate the java console do the following:

1. Start Java Webstart manually (In Windows: Choose 'Run' in the Start-Menu and type 'javaws'😉

2. Go to "Edit"->"Settings"->"Advanced"->"java console"

3. Choose "show console"


....my system was slightly different, but basically you have to change this program to open console.
You then need to open the file downloaded for this game, then make it run with this script.

I hope this helps: if not maybe some screen shots of it would help, or perhaps you could get someone to help you with the forums there.

I ran java. On the game site it takes me to the login screen and then it disappears.
